Hello! My name is Pat Wolfe and I am the 6-8 teacher at Yucca Elementary. I began teaching in 1996 in Chandler, Arizona then moved my way to Mohave County in 2007. Since then, I have served as an Instructional Specialist and Assistant Principal/Principal in Lake Havasu, Clark County School District (NV) and Peach Springs for the Hualapai Tribe. After a break from education which involved travel, golf, gardening, and cooking for large dogs, the lure to return to the classroom was too strong to resist.
In my 27 years in education in school districts big and small, I have to say that Yucca Elementary is probably the coolest place along the journey and I'm blessed to have found this gem in the middle of the beautiful surrounding desert. Happy staff, happy kids, and terrific cafeteria food. Laughter and learning (for the love of learning) prevail at Yucca Elementary, which is truly the best kept secret in the state of Arizona.
Outside of school, I still travel, play golf, garden, and cook for large dogs.
